a good intro but lacked overall depth

Because the topic of fire investigation is so broad and involves so many subject areas, the actual depth of information included was less than I expected. I would use this to allow operations personnel to gain a basic understanding of what to look for, preserve and protect at a scene where an investigator might be needed. In addition, the text allows operations personnel to understand a fire scene from the perspective of a fire investigator. As an intro text I think that the second edition works well, but it's just that -- an introduction to the field.

Fire Investigator (Second Edition)
This book is great, I really like IFSTA products (no I dont work for them). This book address fire investigation in simple terms and illustrations that didn't bore me like some other products on the market.
I read the whole book and highlighted many key points.
